Irene McKinney: Working Bibliography

Finding critical sources about McKinney isn’t as easy as I thought, though I expect to find more after I tackle the thesis below. And I have no access to the resources of an academic library.

Maybe McKinney was on the right track when she confided to Maggie Anderson that she felt underappreciated on the national level. I think it had to do with her being a poet of place and the place being West Virginia, a generally underestimated state. Just my humble opinion.
