Really pleased that my poem, “Chihuahua Desert,” found a home at Contemporary Haibun Online. I’ve worked on this poem for about three years, if not forty. The story affected me emotionally making the poems I wrote melodramatic. It took time–and the beauty of the haibun form–before I could get the tone right.
